If your checkout runs on Checkout Champ instead of Shopify, connect it to Venon so visitors stay linked to the ad click that brought them. This helps link Checkout Champ visits and checkouts to their marketing source. Purchases must sync into Shopify, and Klaviyo Recover must be configured separately to use eligible started-checkout events.
You need: the Admin role in Venon, access to your Checkout Champ account, and Checkout Champ orders syncing into your Shopify store. Venon reads the order itself from Shopify.
1. Add the checkout page script
In Venon, open Integrations.
On the Checkout Champ card, click Set up.
Under Checkout Page Script, click the copy button next to the script.
In Checkout Champ, open each funnel and go to Tracking Pixels → Custom Tracking Code → Head Script. Copy the script from your own Venon account, not from the demo screenshot below.
Paste the script and save. Repeat this for every funnel.
The script tracks page views, add to carts, and started checkouts on your Checkout Champ pages. It also carries the Venon visitor ID over from your Shopify store, so the visit stays linked to the original ad click. It does not send purchases: Venon gets the purchase from the Shopify order.
2. Create a Postback profile in Checkout Champ
In the same Venon window, go to Server Postback URL. Venon creates the URL automatically the first time an Admin opens this window.
Click the copy button next to the URL. The URL is hidden by default. Click the eye icon if you want to see it.
In Checkout Champ, go to Export → Export Webhook Profiles and create a Postback profile.
Paste the Venon URL into Postback URL.
Add the field mappings below. Type each Export Name exactly as shown, then pick the Field in the dropdown.
Export Name | Field |
| Choose Static, then enter |

For carts with more than 1 product, repeat the product1_* rows as product2_* up to product5_*. Map the product fields: without them, Klaviyo Recover cannot use the started checkout.
Only Admins can see the Server Postback URL. Keep it private, because anyone with it can send events for your shop. If it needs to be replaced, contact Venon support.
3. Add profile routing
The Postback profile does not send anything until a route points to it.
Go back to the Export Profiles page in Checkout Champ.
Find Profile Routing on the right and click the green +.
Fill in the route as shown below and save it.
Route field | Value |
Profile | The Postback profile you just created |
Customer Type | Partial |
Campaign | All Campaigns, or restrict it if needed |
Product | All Products |
Venon maps Partial postbacks to started-checkout events. When it can match an existing started checkout, it enriches that event; otherwise it creates a fallback event. Completed purchases still come from Shopify.
4. Optional: add your checkout hosts
Only do this if shoppers go from your Shopify storefront to your Checkout Champ checkout. If your whole funnel runs on Checkout Champ, skip this step.
In the Venon Checkout Champ window, click Optional: Off-Shopify Checkout Hosts.
Under Checkout Champ URLs, enter your checkout domains, 1 per line, for example
checkout.yourbrand.com.Click Save hosts.
Venon adds the visitor ID to links that point to these hosts, so attribution survives the jump from Shopify to Checkout Champ. Venon also uses these hosts to recognize your shop when the script arrives without a shop name.
5. Check that it works
Start a checkout in your Checkout Champ funnel and enter your contact details, so Checkout Champ creates a partial order.
In Venon, open Integrations → Checkout Champ → Set up again.
Under the postback URL, check that Last postback received shows a recent time. This confirms that a postback reached your shop’s URL, not that a usable started-checkout event or Klaviyo recovery message was created. The postback must include the correct event mapping, orderId, and product fields.
If you still see No postback received yet, check the Postback URL, the Export Names, and the Profile Routing. A Postback profile without a route will not deliver the intended postbacks.
