Plans and billing

Revenue tiers, subscription management, cancellation and inactive subscriptions.

Written by Venon

Your plan is based on the combined yearly revenue of the connected shops owned by your user account. 1 subscription covers those shops, including shops across your accounts.

How your tier is checked

Venon checks the past 12 months of revenue across your connected shops and converts it to USD. Where there is less than a full year of history, it can estimate annual revenue from the available data. Checks with insufficient data are skipped.

Upgrades are applied automatically around renewal or the end of a trial. The billing check changes the plan without an immediate prorated charge and sends an email with the new price and next billing date. Downgrades are not applied automatically. Contact support if you think your tier needs review.

1. View your subscription

  1. Sign in as the account owner.

  2. Open Settings > Billing.

  3. Review Plan, Revenue Tier, Billing and the billing date.

An invited Admin can open the Billing tab, but sees a message to contact the account owner instead of subscription details. Editors and Viewers do not see the Billing tab.

2. Open the billing portal

  1. Click Manage Billing.

  2. Stripe opens in a new tab for your subscription and billing details.

For address changes, follow How to update your billing address.

3. Request cancellation

  1. Open Settings > Billing.

  2. Click Cancel Subscription. This opens support chat; clicking it does not cancel the subscription immediately.

  3. Ask support to cancel and confirm the effective date. If chat does not open, email [email protected].

When cancellation is scheduled, Billing shows Canceling and Cancels On. An ended subscription shows Ended On.

What happens when the subscription becomes inactive?

Dashboard access is paused. Venon normally stops accepting new tracking events after the subscription becomes inactive, but cancellation is not a guaranteed data-collection cutoff. The account owner is directed to the payment flow to renew. Other team members see an inactive-subscription page and must ask the owner to update billing.

A Past Due subscription is still treated as active while payment is being retried. Tracking can continue for up to 1 hour under normal operation, and longer during service errors.
