When you view performance data, you’ll see an option to switch between Order and Click attribution.

This setting changes when conversions are counted in your reports.

πŸ›’ Order Attribution

What it means: The conversion is counted on the date the purchase happened.

Use this if: You want to match your results with Shopify, WooCommerce, or your actual sales reports.

Example:

  • A user clicks an ad on June 1st but buys on June 3rd.

  • The sale is attributed to June 3rd.

βœ… Best for tracking real revenue timing and matching your store data. Recommended as default.

⚑ Event Attribution

What it means: The conversion is counted on the date the ad click happened.

Use this if: You want to understand how your ads performed on the day people clicked.

Example:

  • A user clicks an ad on June 1st but buys on June 3rd.

  • The sale is attributed to June 1st.

βœ… Best for analyzing ad performance trends and click behavior, before or after big sales.
