Send Conversions to Google Ads

If you want to send the conversion events back to Google ads, you can do this in two steps.

1. Create a new conversion action in Google Ads 0:04

  • In Google Ads, go to Tools → Goals → Conversions.

  • Open the Summary page.

  • Click New Conversion Action to start creating the conversion you want to track.

2. Choose offline conversions and skip data source setup for now 0:24

  • Deselect the default options shown on the setup screen.

  • Select Conversions Offline.

  • Go to Add Data Source.

  • Click Skip This Step and Set Up Data Source Later.

  • Continue through the prompts by clicking the next buttons and then Done.

3. Configure the purchase conversion 0:48

  • Click Save and Continue.

  • Select Purchase as the conversion type.

  • Open Edit Settings.

  • Rename the conversion to Purchase if needed.

  • Confirm the settings, then click Done.

  • Click Save and Continue, then Finish.

4. Make sure the conversion is set to account default 1:23

  • Verify that the new Purchase conversion is set as Account Default.

  • This ensures Google Ads optimizes for purchases by default.

5. Connect Venon to Google Ads 1:23

  • In Venon, go to Integrations.

  • If Google Ads is not connected yet, click Connect.

  • Select the correct Google Ads account and complete the connection.

6. Enable the Conversion API in Venon 2:09

  • After connecting, click Manage.

  • Turn on Conversion API.

  • If the option does not appear immediately, refresh the page.

  • Once it appears, select the conversion you created in Google Ads.

7. Repeat for other events if needed and save 2:26

  • Repeat the same setup for Start Checkout and Add to Cart if you want those events sent to Google Ads too.

  • Click Save in Venon.

  • The setup is now complete.
