The Pixel page shows how Venon connects visits, clicks, events, and orders to your marketing channels.
What to use it for
Check which channels bring revenue, purchases, new customers, and CM3.
Compare Meta, Google, TikTok, Klaviyo, organic, ChatGPT, and other sources in one table.
See if Venon is receiving enough tracking data before you rely on attribution reports.
Click a paid-ad channel to review campaign, ad set and ad performance. Other channels open their available non-ad breakdown.
Use the graph
Click the circle on the left side of a row to toggle that channel on the graph.
You can toggle multiple channels on the graph to compare them visually.
Use the graph when you want to send a quick screenshot of performance over time.
Use comparison
Click No comparison in the top right.
Turn on comparison to compare the current date range with another period.
Use this when you want to see if a channel improved or got worse compared with the previous period.
Click into a channel
Click a channel name, for example Google Ads or Meta Ads.
Venon opens the next level of detail.
For ad platforms, you can review performance on campaign, ad set, or ad level.
Use this to find which campaigns or ads are driving revenue, purchases, and profit.
Order and event attribution
Event attribution (Click modelling) groups attributed order results by the date of the eligible tracking event. Click modelling supports Lifetime only.
Order attribution (Order modelling) groups attributed results by the order date.
To check individual orders, use the All Orders report.
Attribution models
Use the attribution model selector to change how Venon assigns credit.
Different models answer different questions. For example, last click gives credit to the final touchpoint before the order.
For a full explanation, read Attribution models.
Choose Nested View or Tabbed View
Open Pixel and click an ad channel, such as Meta Ads.
Choose Nested View to expand a campaign into its ad sets, then an ad set into its ads, within the same table.
Choose Tabbed View to use separate Campaigns, Ad Sets, and Ads tabs.
In Tabbed View, select campaign checkboxes to filter the ad sets and ads. Select ad set checkboxes to narrow the ads further. Click Clear filters to remove the selection.
In Nested View, the ad sets appear beneath their campaign. The screenshot shows 3 ad sets under Advantage+ Shopping.
Tabbed View keeps each level in a separate table. The checkboxes filter the next levels; the circles beside rows control the graph.
Compare Venon and platform-reported numbers
Open Meta Ads or Google Ads from Pixel.
Find the ROAS, CV, and Purchases columns with the platform logo. Scroll the table horizontally if needed.
Compare them with the matching Venon columns without the logo. Hover a column heading to read its definition.
In the Meta screenshots above, the Meta logo marks the platform-reported columns. Venon uses its selected attribution model and window; the platform reports its own conversion data. These are different views of sales, not separate sales to add together. See Why numbers differ between Venon, Shopify, Meta, and Google.
Open the orders behind a metric
Click a Venon Purchases or ROAS value in a channel, campaign, ad set or ad row. Click the value, not the column heading, which sorts the table.
The Orders from dialog lists the orders behind that row, with Order, Date, and Revenue.
Click an order to inspect its details. Use NC Purchases or NC ROAS when you only want new-customer orders.
The screenshot shows the order list opened from a campaign. The platform-logo columns are separate reported metrics, not the Venon order drill-down.
Read non-ad channels
Pixel also includes sources that do not have paid-ad spend. Depending on your tracking data, these can include Omnisend, Judge.me, ChatGPT, and Not Attributed. A channel appears when there is data for it; not every shop or date range will show every source.
Find the source in the Pixel table and review its revenue, purchases and new-customer metrics.
Click the source name to see its available breakdown. Non-ad channels do not use the paid-ad Campaigns / Ad Sets / Ads workflow or the Nested / Tabbed switch.
Use order drill-downs to investigate the sales behind the source.
Omnisend and Judge.me can appear as tracked non-ad sources, and ChatGPT can appear as a referral source. A row is attribution data, not proof of a connected paid-ad account. Spend-based metrics are not meaningful when there is no ad spend.
Not Attributed means Venon could not assign an order to a tracked source. It is not an advertising platform. See How to fix the non-attributed orders? for checks.
